Yes. If you are looking for a particular palaeontological specimen, a rare mineral or a meteorite of a specific epoch, RELICTUM's experts will source it to your request. Expert appraisal and guidance throughout the transaction are included in the price. Submit a request
Sold pieces are moved from the catalogue to the archive. Your manager will select a similar object from the collection or source a comparable piece to your request.
Every specimen is handed over with a RELICTUM specimen passport, which includes the house's certificate of authenticity. It records the object's provenance, age and condition, together with details of any restoration. For key specimens the house engages independent specialists — palaeontologists, mineralogists and meteorite experts — whose reports are appended to the passport. Reconstructions and casts are always identified as such in the description.
The object's provenance, its age and condition, details of any restoration and reconstruction work, and, where available, expert reports. The passport is an integral part of the piece; please keep it together with the object.
Yes. All restoration and reconstruction work is disclosed in the description of the piece — RELICTUM's rules do not permit concealing it.
Yes. RELICTUM specimens are sold lawfully and are handed to the buyer with a passport of provenance. Export abroad is a separate procedure: palaeontological objects, meteorites, minerals and mammoth tusks may be classed as cultural property, requiring an expert opinion from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and for certain species a CITES permit. Obtaining these documents is the buyer's responsibility; we provide full information on the specimen's provenance and assist with the preparation. For details, see clause 5.8 of the public offer agreement.
Prices are listed openly in the catalogue, ranging from 80,000 ₽ to 125,000,000 ₽. There are 34 lots priced below 500,000 ₽, and 15 monumental pieces priced above 10 million ₽. View the catalogue

For an office, choose objects that invite close inspection: a large ammonite, a meteorite slice or a striking mineral on a stand. Selection for an executive

Yes. Goods of proper quality may be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided their presentation, functional properties and specimen passport are preserved — this applies to unique, one-of-a-kind specimens as well. A specimen may be returned at the gallery on Bolshaya Yakimanka or sent to us by carrier, in which case the buyer bears the cost of shipping and the risk in transit. Refunds are made within 10 days by the same method used for payment. The only items not eligible for return are stands, display cases and frames made to your individual dimensions.
