The second stone of the fall — the same rock of the same asteroid. This body never grew into a planet: a collision broke it apart, and the fragments went towards the Earth.
Ozerki is a meteorite that fell in the Lipetsk region. The stones were gathered immediately after the fall, before the first rains — and so the primary fusion crust has come down untouched.
Such a crust is usually destroyed within the first seasons of rain and snow. Here it is intact — and that is the chief value of the specimen.
